During the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in the Dominican Republic saw varied performances among the top apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 15.5K and peaking at 18.7K towards late August. Despite these changes, weekly active users consistently grew from 419K to a high of 480K in late August, though a slight dip was observed by the end of September.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady download trend, averaging around 12K to 14K weekly. Active users showed significant growth, beginning at approximately 698K and reaching over 865K by the end of the quarter.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides had a relatively stable download rate, mostly ranging between 5.5K and 6.8K. Active users saw a notable increase from 102K to over 151K, indicating a rising engagement with the app.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver demonstrated a consistent download pattern, with numbers hovering around 3.5K weekly. Active users rose from 51.8K to a peak of 69.4K mid-quarter, reflecting a solid user base.

Lastly, DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash showed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 3.3K in late August. Weekly active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 31K mark.
